jrickert 2 Posted August 7, 2011 I love her curly, light auburn hair and her blue clothing. The depth of field is perfect here, lighting too. Well done. Link to comment
Vlado 0 Posted August 8, 2011 What a luck for some son-in-law! You captured the important and , I believe, the strongest part of her (or his?) personality! Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted August 8, 2011 Shot during a "Middle Ages" event. Vlad, the lady is a grand lady, see the attachment. This afternoon I made the discovery my right eye, in fact the eye I do everything with, is seeing things at least 30% brighter or 30% less saturated than normal. I was watching a bright rose in the garden, yes with both eyes, then, I don't know why, closed the right one.. and wow, made the discovery, the difference. My wife did prove it by declaring the rose was colored (clearly) pink and not like being "overexposed". Wow, that does mean most of my posted images probably are too much contrasted and or saturated...! Phoe..! :) Maybe I should shoot no longer in the vivid mode or someting like that. Yes, I do control the result on the screen by the left eye as well now. Only one problem, so close this eye only does see sharp for 70 percent. Well, well, pure adventure..! :) Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted August 18, 2011 You are full of surprices, The grand lady is free to do what she wants where she wants regardless.... Great presentation. Link to comment
sandra_ford 0 Posted January 24, 2014 Crop too tight over top otherwise you have yourself a nice pic. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Sandra, at (your) first glance you might be right. However, the hair-color just above the strong blue did give (1) an unpleasant colorbalance and (2) made the lady looking funny. Now the blue on top, together with the expression of the eyes is giving a better balance plus an extra ferm result. Sometimes it's a matter of choosing what to dicide, especially if one doesn't like to crop. ;) Link to comment
