As dry as the desert is, it still manages to give us some wonderfully

colored bouquets.There were a lot of fires in California in July of

2008 as you can see by the haze in the background mountains. It was

much worst than it looks but with the help of PS I cleared it up a

little. That artistic license goes a long way as does the Pixel bender

filter.

Excellent work with the pixel bender Leo. This has real water color look to it. The sp;ash of color, in this otherwise drab environment, really grabs the eye. Must be seen large to appreciate!

Wow!!  I really like the way the reds, greens and yellows are popping out here.  You've really captured what the desert actually is, because it is colorful, you just have to look for it...Lefty
