Beautiful image, lovely colours & silhouettes...the clouds have a nice movement to them. The one thing I would critique is the I wish there was more ground showing, I think the blackness of the silhouette (of the ground) would even the photo out a bit more. Overall really beautiful :)

Excellent shot!The textures & colours of sky and the reflection of those colours with great tonality have made this image a masterpiece.Those silhouettes are adding extra beauty to this image.Here I feel a bit tilt at right is there(may be I am wrong).

The exposure here is superb.  Love the off center placement of the sun.  And I agree that the silhouettes elevate this from the run of the mill sunsets of which there are ample. (almost 1000  pages of them on PN at this time)  Kim has a point about the foreground but, for me at least, it's not a deal breaker.  Best, LM.

 Koushik, this was shot during sunrise. Bay of Bengal is on the East of Pondicherry. You should make one more trip to Pondicherry.

Gail,  You are right.There is  a wonderful feeling of delight,when I see the sun rising on the horizon. I am aware that sunrise images are cliche. But I could not resist the temptation to share these cliche images with those who can not watch the grand spectacle of Nature.

Kym & Len, I agree that there should have been more ground. I wanted to show more of sky. I am uploading an image, as desired.

Beautiful sunrise finely captured!  Those scattered clouds certainly enhance a sunrise and always seem to provide great opportunities for us photographers.  Enjoyed viewing.
