papasan 0 Posted July 31, 2011 Quite beautiful. Nice light and composition. Nice bokeh background as well. The wood in the foreground appears a bit too bright which is slightly distracting however. I would consider adjusting the level overall to keep the balance while darkening the foreground a little more (see my example, not better than yours just different). Well seen and captured. camilo.margeli 1 Posted July 31, 2011 Thanks Michael for your very useful comment. On last times I have some problems with the gamma adjustment because depending the amount of light in the room where I prepare the images, they differ resulting quite flats, mainly when I prepare them in the middle of night without natural light entering in the window. In any case and comparing with yours, now I feel that my first image looks certainly a bit flat, but yours, for my taste looks a bit dark. In any case I returned to the raws and I found another image of the series and processed it to try to obtain a intermediate result. I hope it looks better than the first one, and I will appreciate your opinion for that adjustment. On the other hand I want to give you thanks for your comment, I think the first constructive comment I received here on Photo.net. ramon-monegal 0 Posted August 7, 2011 Hi, Camilo!I prefer this 3rd version: wood looks more "texturized" while keeping details and light on mushrooms.Best regards,Ramon. Link to comment
