It belongs to Zion National Park.  The permit is requested.  However, it is easy to get it during the week.  You goole "subway" and you will find a lot of information about it.  I follow the book, "Photographing the Southwest by Laurent Martres".  It has very detailed information.  My experice: try not to go there in cold season if you don't have water-proof shoes (higher one) since the water there is very cold.  Another difficult thing is to climb down a 500 yards cliff-like trail and climb up the same when you come back.  I did it with my wife.  It is worth.  I will do it again whenever we have a chance this year.  Best Regards,

this one is more subtle because it does not have the prominent foreground elements.  to me, it is deeper and more profound.  it develops the aperture as a much stronger element.  the curvature back there is sublime.  best, j
