Whatever you are doing you are doing very well. Very pleasing and tasteful work in all aspects.

To me, this has a sort of mystical, primitive religiousity about it as well as beautiful tones (I am so envious of your ability in that regard). It's a picture that pulls me in - hopefully not too close; those cactus spines look deadly.

I like the contrasts. The stinging cacti against the backdrop of the much softer leaves, the dark and foreboding foreground against the lighter and more inviting background. My eye does want to wander around this photo, especially in the foreground where the darker parts are still detailed and present. It's a very expressive photo.

I too like the contrast ( of prickly against soft) in the photo. The delicate light of the various layers was beautifully handled. An expressive photo indeed.
