fstaples 0 Posted July 26, 2011 Love the contrast - in more ways than one! You have a good eye to catch this image and your choice of B&W is right on in my humble opinion. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted July 27, 2011 Hi Bob! I think this is an interesting, well captured street shot. It is well composed and has excellent tonal range. I like your choice of frame. It gives a bit life, or energy that invigorates the image. I think the octopus comment above was cruel and unneccesary. I think it is sad that people still think it is alright to laugh at obese people, like with those Walmart People e-mails. I am sure you didn't take this shot to laugh at these two but because you thought they were an interesting couple with interesting stories. They both look very sad. It looks like she only has one breast. As a BC survivor this is something I sympathize with. Link to comment

engela 0 Posted July 27, 2011 One of those images where you can't decide what to say, because the image itself does all the talking!Great shot!Kind regards,Engela Link to comment
margaret1 0 Posted July 27, 2011 Wonderful street scene and character study. I like the humanism about this-a slice of life, of people with feelings and needs and problems, and perhaps at the moment, no real problems. The background looks as though this may have been taken at t theme park. The black and white is perfect for this. Great shot. Link to comment
joanbn 0 Posted July 27, 2011 Great capture and framing. I like to take interesting people but never want to make them feel uncomfortable. I try not to show faces and then I don't have to ask permission. Do I? Link to comment
