Hi Greg,

I like this image. very pleasing to view.

Now, try to get the same results with a different F-stop.

You lens has much more definition to offer you and the distance and position that you shoot a flower like this will allow you to get down to F/5.6, which would result in a stunning detailed image.

The Canon 100 macro works at its highest level from f/2.8 to F/5.6.

It just takes some practice .
