The landscape is most unusual, but the colors are beautiful!!! I think I will 'search out' this place to find out more about it.  Find compositions!!

Kind regards, Gail

I really like your composition with the diagonal line of toadstools from near to far.  I think the light on the ground makes up for the featureless blue in the sky, and you've probably reduced the amount of sky as much as possible with the angle you chose for your camera.  I've been to New Mexico once, and this makes me definitely want to visit again to experience this area.  I really like photos that capture the sense or essence of an area, and I think you've done that here.

Wanghan:  Amazing shot of structures I've never seen before.  It's always amazing to see something new about my country that I haven't seen before.  Nice composition, lighting and color as well.  Alan.

Truly an unusual formation and have composed it very well with effective timing for illuninating the form.  Very well seen and executed, and thank you for you many kind recent comments, best regards rek.

Fascinating rock formations that you have composed and framed really well. I like the subtle touches of warm evening light and the proportional mass of the subject within the frame. It just leaves me wondering about the scale, are they 100ft hight or a 1000 ft high?...........not that it really matters they look brilliant.  Very well done!

Best Regards

Alf

Alf,

Not high.  It is about 3 meters high.  But it is a very interesting place for me.  There are a lot of intersting forms.  The best thing is that you don't need any permit to visit this place.

Excellent composition on a very unusual rock formation. They look like dinosaurs perched atop mounds. Your PP is spot on here, Wanghan, very cool capture.

Hi Wanghan,

Once again you have made good use of the lighting and your camera gear to capture an excellent image of a beautiful scene.

Very nice composition and presentation, too.

this is "wow".  Very nice light spotlighting the amazing shapes.  Hey, they could be like some giant alien space ships.  Take a photo and run!  Cheers, Micheal

The lighting helped you here to make a moody kind of a picture, fantastic plus moody, ha! Very strange forms, I hadn't seen them before!

Best regards
