Now this is a striking image! Hits you like a punch in the face! The symmetrical composition is perfect here. At first I thought about cropping off the lower edge to emphasize even more the symmetry but when I gave it a try it looked odd. I agree with James -> the narrow DOF is great here, it gives depth to the image. It would certainly be a great shot in B/W too! Kind regards, Jan

That's spectacular work, keeping the eyes in focus and losing the beak like that.  What a perfect job!  Did you make some sort of noise to get him to look right at you this way?  Great, great image!
