And I keep taken images, now one after another, only one at a time, not continues as it will have taken the sequence more acurate.

I took one more frame while they were in the floor and the woman started separating them, but it was too late and I miss that f image!

An interesting sequence of images captured very well with a story line. Surprised that the gentleman with the flowers is simply watching and does nothing about it.

Warm regards,

I don't know why the exposed one and others are with very low contrast and the rest on the bottom are with perfect contrast and overall technical quality!

Jorge, I would suggest you to request critique for one of the most dynamic and with better technical quality!

Anyway, this is a great row of reporter's photos of high level!

Felicidades mi amigo!

Best regards!

Violence is horrible: decays humans far below animals...

Great coverage Jorge !

Congrats !

(you have a 7 to raise your ratings)

Pierre, the answer is simple: the Canon 5D was metering in evaluative mode. It exposed the right way the scene. Jorge cropped the images but didn't PP them. Simple as that ;)

Jorge , I think you deserve a bravery award for even pointing your camera ! A friend of mine was himself attacked for getting his camera out in a similar situation . Good reportage though . Bill

Questions:

Now PP after cropping what is that.

I thought the problem was that the first 2 images were far and in the shade, then the fighters move closer and to the Sun!

Help.

Answers:

-PP stands for Post Processing, IMHO is In My Humble Opinion and ASAP, although nice (as soon as possible), chills one's spine. Acronyms.

-Canon 5D is marvelous. However when one crops it's results, one should revisit the exposure. Why ?! Because one changed the context.

-Google for Picasa: free and tremendous ! The fairy tale stick works.

Hope this helps.

Thanks ! or 10x ! ;)

good reportage of the scene of action, Jorge! a sign of the times, of the currently favorite method of "problem-solving" ...  :>(

Have you ever considered being a reporter-photographer? You would do very well, and report what others miss. I agree with Pierre, here. You should post one of the better-contrast photos for critique (but then the sequence of the story would be lost).

Janice is right !

How about it ?!

Rapid fire your 5D in such situations, shoot raw, and contact the local magazine or newspaper. Will get you extra money and eventually, only God kows, will give you the will to aim to be Robert Capa.

Worth trying !

Thanks Janice !

I was blown away by this sequence of images.  They are amazingly powerful, on a numbers of levels.  Although I agree that that contrast level early on in the series is off, I don't see that as a dealbreaker.

My sincere congratulations.......

Cordial saludo.
