I'd like to see this printed!  On my monitor, it looks a bit dark, but maybe that is the effect you were after.  Did you try a lighter version?  I'll try to attach another image I captured not too long ago that might go with yours.  Nice job!

I very much like this. I have one very similar to this in my Black and White folder. Something about it being so bare, it just says solitude to me. Wonderful photo.

Minimalism...yes! I would enjoy viewing this capture with the elimination of the viewer's left bird...leaving only the right. There is something about the number one here that intrigues me....falling in line with the minimalism theme and the mood evoking solitary feel. Best, C

Yes..it could be even better with one bird only..these two guys just happened to sit there and as I was sitting on a summerhouse terrace with my camera near me..I just snapped a shot of those two.
