rick vincent 1 Posted March 23, 2003 What are your thoughts on cloning out the branches that seem to "attach" to the back end of the zebra? Or, not an issue...leave as is? Link to comment
davidorea 0 Posted March 23, 2003 Rick, I would leave it as is. Great photo, congrats! Link to comment
dirk_funhoff3 0 Posted March 23, 2003 This image appeals to me in several ways - I like the view from below to the Zebra, the overall "positive" line in it etc. I would leave the branches - a little "imperfection" is even more appealing. The only thing I would like is a little bit more room to the right - giving the Zebra more to look at. But this is just my personal view. Thanks for sharing - Dirk Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted March 23, 2003 I do have more room over there to the right to work with. I like the square crop and tried to leave as much room to the right as possible without cropping the tree on the left. I could try more of a 4x5 proportion. Link to comment
john_mcgill 0 Posted March 24, 2003 Great shot, converting to B&W works really well. The animal looks powerful, like the king of the herd. I would leave the branches and think the square composition works. The two major elements need each other to make this shot wonderful. well done. Link to comment
