I would remove the can, but more critically it is too bad that the front of the car is cut off in the photo, I think the entire vehicle should have been included.

Patrick, to add more specifics to what Marc and Mark have said about the front of the car, I would say you needed to have as much space in front of the car as this image shows behind the car...that way the car has room to "move" so to speak.  Also, the exposure might be a tad dark making the whites not stand out as much as they might--could be my monitor, too.  What happens when you click on the whitest part of the hood with the white eyedropper in Levels in Photoshop?  It could be too radical a change...experiment.  As to the Coke can, I actually kinda like it--it adds some interest--a possible story of a cop who set his Coke down to give chase on foot maybe?  I'd leave it, otherwise it's just a car picture.

This is what happens when Not paying full attention. I was talking to the officer, and didn't notice I had shifted my aim a little.I was also trying to figure a way to show his lights flashing.
