Like the composition.

It certainly accentuates the already other-wordly look of this part of Death Valley.  The landforms are really interesting, and I like the great variation in light in the sky.

The pixel bending filter is certainly adding a new twist and works very well here. That sky is amazing.

beautiful image, very dramatic atmosphere. I like the shapes and lines of the hills. I have not yet experimented with the pixel bender filter but that gives me some incentive to consider it. Lovely work. Regards - michel

Just realized this was on PN.  I would have rated this one a perfect 7. I remember the original of this when you posted it.  If memory serves me you had actually done tow or three of this shot before you got what you were looking for.  Glad you discovered PB!
