Beautiful lighting when you consider the time of day.  Hoodoos really fascinate me. They have them in Western Canada, a little different in color, but strange looking all the same.  Nice work!

Kind regards, Gail

You turn up the saturation control a little too high for me, but it's a fantastic photo.  If you have the raw file, maybe you'll make a more chilled out version one day.  I notice in "Details" that you took it at f/16 with a 42-mm focal length.  f/16 is stopped down enough to cause diffraction blur circles about twice as big as the pixels on the 5D2.  f/8 is the highest you should go unless you really need the depth of field, which you obviously didn't here.  Try pictures like this at f/16 and f/5.6, and I think you'll be amazed to find that the f/5.6 picture is sharper.  best, jamie

Electric,

Thanks a lot.  I will remember your advice and take it into my practice next time.  Best Regards you.

From all of them, I like this the best. The only comment I my make, I would ad more space/sky to the top. It is  to close to the frame  and  kinda  to tight the composition on the top.

Hi Wanghan,

It is a comment, a little late. Was going through your portfolio today and found this snap very striking. Loved the color tones, the lines on the rock. The highlight is the white moon in blue sky. This is just perfect. Congratulations on this great snap. Possibly one the best on your portfolio.

Thanks,

Harsha.
