That s a great one. I knew that station from an old LP. That view is very original.

Yeah Jacques, I think that Floyd might have used a picture although I'm sure theirs was a side shot.

This idea of two good shapes superimposed on each other is a good one, I'm guessing it was hazy enough to get the two tones. Having the main elelments of both parts as vertical lines also works well. I'd crop the gas holder on the right edge, I'd probablt cut through the point of the second post in, and possibly do the same on the left. I'm not a fan of this type of frame ...

I recognized it inmediatly when I saw it, for the famous Pink Floyd's album!

As for the aesthetics, I think it's a good one, maybe I would retry this one by giving the grille a lower angle, using for it just the bottom third. In the way it is now, is kind of too "intrusive"... Anyway, it's a matter of personal tastes, not to say it's a bad shot. A.5 O.5

PS: I saw your comment on my portfolio, thanks for the salutation, and yes, we're wating for next August our first child... :-) BTW, it looks like you read spanish...?

The angle is good, but I would have framed this a little bit different. A little less of the lower part maby. But the ligt is wonderful and aesthetics otherwise top notch.

Hi Hugh! I was enjoying this one earlier today. It's an interesting subject. I like how powerful you have made it look with the prominent gate. The gate makes it seem untouchable, off limits by outsiders. Placing the subject so high in the frame is fitting for such a place. I don't agree with others that the gate is too high in the frame. It would ruin the impact/feeling of dangerous dominion over all around. If anything, it would be nice to see this with more fog/mist in the air. There is a feeling of mystery, but not enough. We put things behind fences to keep people out and that makes us wonder what goes on in there.

Great image. Small thing, but I would have maybe cropped the right side by one fence post, thus takingthe lighter round tower out.
