This young man seemed to be lost in thought, and also enjoying a bit

of a breeze. They were few and far between that evening. (thanks for

visiting, Gail)

A very appealing shot and a nice play on the title! Your p/p work emphasizes the workspace well with it's confined space and lack of air-conditioning....Bravo Gail!

Gail, the admirable  way you have composed the image with smoke and colors, gives me a feeling that I am approaching the counter with the aroma of cooking wafting in the cool breeze. Compliments!

Good 'frozen' moment - absolute self explanatory. ( Must have been a very tiny breeze according to the smoke direction...:)

The best of the serie in my opinion, Gail ... your edition work is wonderful in all the shots (as usual). Take care ... a big hug.

Good title! I wondered whether these were ribs or lobsters for a second. This is a new direction for you Gail and I think it is excellent. I didn't recognise this as one of yours until I stopped to have a better look. I like the bright reds in the mostly black and white, it really makes the image pop. The steam, the young man with his arms up - I can almost feel the heat. Very impressive, congratulations. Cheers, Linda

this is a skillful piece of work

the contrast is outstanding between the dark and white back ground ,black shirt ,then orange/reddish on meat and apron

a 3 dimension look with the smoke then what appears to be a partition

the expression on your subject if great

nice balance and frame

good sharp focus

thanks

I don't know why I prefer this one to all the rest of the series, but I certainly think that it has all of a great photo! And more than that! Congratulations Gail!

Best regards!

Gail, I remeber similar postings you did last summer.  Is this an annual event?  It's an excellent shot!
