I have processed this in B&W, color and now using the Pixel Bender

filter. I love the feeling of the old Southwest that this image brings

to mind. The Pixel Bender adds a quality of the old landscape painters

which I think fits this image.

This may be your best PB work to date!  The composition, scene, and color palette really set up nicely for the effect.  Those southwestern earth-tones in combination with that fabulous sky creates a real winner all around. Excellent work, Leo.  This'd make a great notecard!  I'm so glad that we drove out there that afternoon, and that you had a chance to photograph this little piece of New Mexico landscape.  Cheers!

Being from the UK I've ever only seen images like this in old films, and the minute I seen this it conjured up old memories of that classic "The Alamo" My geography may be flawed, but thats the impression I got. The colours are just excellent.

Best Regards

Alf

Glad you were able to shoot this.  Made for a very neat pixel bender.  Rather reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe painting.  Nice work and out of the norm which makes it Unique!
