Interesting and captivating, it captures the mood of the place very nicely. I like the tilted horizon: it fits well in this kind of shots. Regards!

Thanks for your comments.

Well the level of the picture was a complete accident. When I saw this on the camera LCD screen I took another one that was straight.

But when I downloaded them, the straight one looked boring. I don't know exactly why, but I suspect that the crooked scene makes one feel that the road on the left is going up a hill and coming down on the right. I also liked the accidental framing here. The car on the left is half cut-off and the road sign and the building follow the 1/3 rule.

Since the like/dislike can go either way on this one I thought I'd request a review to see what others thought.

Thanks

Arnav

You know, the lack of symetry and levelness is not all that bad.  This is one of those photo's that when you take it, you might not think it will really work out...but it did.  I really like it.  And given how the clouds look that day, B&W looks much better than color.

Interesting capture .Accident or not it is the tilt that makes this image .

Arnav, I think the slant of the image give the impression of being a passenger in a car and contributes to the grey, wet atmosphere.

It is not necessary that all images must be a straight one.Sometimes altered perspective also adds beauty to the image & here is the example.Very well rendered in monochrome.

My best regards.
