3m 0 Posted July 18, 2011 Oh Marc....When I looked at the image on the right and then subsequently at the thumbnail of this photo, I imagined looking at a moon landscape for some reason... A fly on the moon LOL. Now that I get the series I hope that I won't be too grossed out to see the rest of your 'cycle of a (fruit) fly' photos... :-) Nonetheless, I really admire the originality and approach of this. B&W was a good choice too, imo, as it enables the viewer to focus more on the textures and depth of the photo -- not so much on the (slightly off-putting, at least for me) colorful graphics... The photo was well composed too, imo -- with the depth you created here, it gives the fly a vast territory of its own...Maybe a tad more variation in the tonal range...? Anyway, an original take, Marc..! Link to comment
tamaramar 0 Posted August 24, 2011 I guess, I started from the last to the beginning. Now I can tell that it's nice support for science :) Original - yes, but still not pleasant to look at... I know, that there are a lot of upleasant things in this world and there's always a photographer that we are greatful to for being there.... Best regards, Tamara Link to comment
