Beautiful editing Sumon. I've been to Paris when only 19 but remember somuch about it. This is a lovely compositon, beautiful lighting, such beautiful colors in the sky, reminds me of a silk scarf my Mom gave me. I never knew abou the locks before. Sumon, This is a nice point of view of the city, one I don't think I've seen before. The light is beautiful the way it is striking the water and the buildings. I have never heard of the ritual with the locks either and I wonder what the significance of it is.

This is Pont des Art Bridge, which is a favourite place for lovers and dreamers in Paris. People fix padlocks in the fencing of the bridge with desires for eternal love. This is a very popular ritual in Paris, the city of love. Sometimes thousands of padlocks become real problem for Municipality. Later on, I’ll post other photographs of padlocks on bridge of Paris.

   The bridge, which is seen in the middle of the picture, on the water, is Pont Neuf Bridge. Pont Neuf Bridge was built in 1604 and it’s the oldest bridge in Paris. This is a popular place for photographers and tourists. Master photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson composed one of his famous photographs from the same pov in 1951. (Pont Neuf captured from Pont des Art). That was also a morning shot.
