Sous l'ombre...

Very nice contre-jour.   The light is wonderful, and the colors nicely saturated.  Lovely model.  There is something with the dress that seems unnatural though, maybe it's because of the hoops it appears a bit rigid. It is a personal choice but i think i would have preferred something more flowing...  overall this is a great image. Regards - michel

I also like the image but feel the hooped dress (skirt?) is very effective providing a frame for her silhouette. I also like the backlight on her hair. Well done, again, Mycatherina!

The effect here is marvelous, yet upon longer looking I see something I do not understand.  Judging by her hair highlights and the highlights on her arms, the light is seeming to come from two directions at once.  The light from the left seems to match the light on the background, but the light hitting her hair and arms from the right does not seem to be possible.  Also the amount of illumination within the hoop skirt garment seems to be too great when compared to the background.

Is it possible this is a computer composite of a studio shot and an outdoor background?
