I do appreciate your support on the vanishing wildlife series I want to post more to keep at least a presence in the minds via my designs to help us all become aware how we are all linked.. Monte, not only is this a terrific capture but is compositionally excellent with the trees in the lower right.  I know owls mostly hunt at night, but didn't realize they hunted in broad daylight like this.  Thanks for the education and sharing your really fine avian images.
