Love the old look you've created.

Brings back lots of memories.  It was my first time to drive a stick shift which was a real challenge.

this is a really fun composition!  I like the way the the border blends with the car, and the car has a bit of a 3-d 'pop'. very nicely done.  thanks for sharing!  -chris

Excellent as well as the other version, Pierre!

You herewith turn the icon "Beetle" into another one. :) - Excellent compo and technique of photography. However, I'd prefer to drive another car today ;) - maybe an electric car or hydrogen propelled one...

The old beetle consumed yet too much fuel at its time (however, not so much as much other cars 20-40 years ago), we should avoid to burn too much hydrocarbons today...

I rather like this one Pierre. My younger brother when he was a toddler, was fascinated with Volkswagons, and we all did  our best to buy him 'toy' ones when we could. To this day he still loves the vehicles.  And I don't see one without thinking of him. I've only ridden in one once, in a BLIZZARD!! That was a bit scary, but blizzards are with most cars.

Lovely layering again Pierre. You've got this 'receipe down pat'.

Sincere regards, Gail

I think you left a little too much car in this one.  Great otherwise, though.  best, j
