Guest Guest Posted July 14, 2011 One Boomer to another... The comments you provided on my simple graphic image is appreciated and respected. In that I wanted to comment on this image as it reflects what I envisioned that we must all find the simple beauty in the things around us as you have done here. Thanks for the image and for the comments... MJ Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted July 15, 2011 Beautiful little gems, one and all. After looking at and photographing many dew-draped flowers, I still find these scenes to be thrilling. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted July 16, 2011 Ruud, thanks for stopping by. Trisha, geraniums are definitely one of my favorites too. They grow so well here, and they love the soil that my husband makes in his composter. Pierre, thanks for that suggestion. I think I will try that square crop when I get this printed.Radu, thank you, nice to her from you.Grigoriy, thanks so much.MJ, we are like minded in that thought. There is beauty in this brutal, chaotic world when you look for it. Andrea, your comment is appreciated very much as you know I admire your flower photographs greatly. Jeff, I never tire of water droplets on flowers, they always seem like magic.Bobby, thank you for your thoughts.Best wishes,Linda Link to comment
janienews 0 Posted July 17, 2011 Hi Linda, my back patio is festooned with geraniums - I love them! Beautiful soft pinks in this one and the waterdrops make it sparkle. Lovely flower photo. Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted September 9, 2011 Blurring the foreground without creating a disorienting feeling is tricky. For me, this one has that disorienting feeling. DSLR viewfinders are optimised for brightness, not focusing accuracy, and they show a sharper picture than you end up with. Live view helps a lot if you've got it on your camera. Great image, I just though criticism would be more useful than praise. best, jamie Link to comment
