Nice silhouette, Rich!  I'd be tempted to crop some off the top, what do you think?

thanks J, I took this in portrait orientation so have cropped a small amount of the bottom and a fair bit at the top I stopped where I did due to wanting to keep the cloud in above.

But I think you may be right that the composition may would be better balanced if I cropped just above the tree.

Nice image Richard.  I really like the silhouette of this tree, it reminds me of a Japanese bonzai, strong and rugged to withstand the forces of nature. I think the composition is fine as it is. Symbolically there is plenty of room above the tree to grow. I like the diagonal line of the foreground and mountain parallel to the top of the tree.  Nice work Richard. Regards always - michel
