matussik 0 Posted July 12, 2011 Interesting triptych! I like how the presentation leaves no other option open then concentrating on the model's frozen movement, tense muscles and aesthetics of this athletic body. Imo the first and last positions are the most interesting ones; in the first her position is a little awkward and somehow reminds me of a barbie doll; in the last her arms with her spread fingers somehow reminds me of a hawk or imaginary dragon that stops in flight before lunging at its prey - it has a tenseness that I like very much; imho both could stand alone. For me the middle shot is less interesting, too close to the first but not close enough to the last to really be a transition between both; but I like the idea of showing the metamorphose from an inert doll to an alert predator. Good work! Best regards, Jan Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted July 12, 2011 Good... YES! However I appreciate the sense of fun more in this image. I like it a lot. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted July 12, 2011 Bob, MJ David and Jorge,Thank you very much for your visit. I truly appreciate your interest.Jan,Thank you very much for your detailed critique. I am glad than you like the image. This is a jump sequence. In the middle she was just gaining altitude without much change in the position. By itself it is not a great image, but as a part of the sequence it belongs. Link to comment
