Uhooru 2,207 Posted July 20, 2011 The installation was an anti-Iraq War site, you may have heard of called Arlington West. They had them all over the country. They would set up a grave marker for every soldier killed in Iraq and then would take it down at the end of the day. This is at Santa Monica just North of the pier. I was shooting it for a class assignment and just "stumbled" on this shot. All I can say is it felt really strange taking this photo because it felt like I kind of moved into this "on post" feeling. Eerie. But yes anti-war. Link to comment
