Cascade Falls

When we first visited this falls the sun was already hitting parts of

the water and blowing it out. I took a couple of exposures just to

play with but I didn't have much hope for anything to develop because

of the high contrast. When I processed it, it produced and rather

"hard" looking image. I decided to give the Pixel Bender filter a try

because of its "softening" effect and I am pleased with the way it

tamed the contrast.

The sunlight dancing on the rocks and branches make me smile and I love to smile - so thank you!

This is the type of image that makes me love photography as you have not only captured a beautiful scene, but a moment when the sunlight was in just the right location to create this lovely effect.
