As always, this requires a second and then a third glance to try to understand the ideas. I do not understand the red "do not enter"  sign. Maybe this person is not destined for heaven. Your blending of layers is fabulous, as always.

Robert, I put there Roman tombs, mannequin wearing Roman looking clothes and that is to symbolize the Roman culture and since we all know that ours (western) descends from that one in each and every detail in the manner of speaking, the sign "access denied" is for us too!

Wonderful creation presented with a mysterious colour tone. The ''donot enter'' sign enhances the image a lot & denotes that as if she has not been allowed to enter the other side as her position in the frame suggests.

My best regards.

Very complex subject to even try to present.. Here you have tried to capture the complexity the simplicity and the vastness in the design... The use of Roman is a strange point as they really did not embrace such a concept until late Roman empire which converted to Christian values... Regardless I like the design and the complex subject you have selected ... Great work mon chum  ( my friend) ... Thanks for your comments as always on my simple designs... MJ

Objectively seen it's one of your very best..! Yes, even very best ones also can be mines, this is an artistic reminder. If one's heart (!) is after the lady stands for, the person will be in such a place only together with people minded in the same way, for they even can't stand (!) the open heavenly atmospheres. In the first (!) personal story about a nearly death experience, written by Richie (?) a young American soldier told about meeting Jesus. The Lord guided him also through places we now can imagine by the above sketch. Together they forinstance did visit really huge plants where lots of scientists feverisly still were continuing their searches after aimed goals their hearts (!) were after. They didn't had time or attention for something else. Then Ritchie saw, how the Lord totally unnoticed walked between (!) them..

Another amazing described scene was the moment they together did pass the universe and even beyond. By that Ritchie got shown the space like a glancing pearl. Jesus did observe Richie's reaction an with a twinkle in His eyes He said " If you like it, I also can show you that pearl like a knop of a pin." That wasn't needed, Ritchie, overwhelmed and a bit shy did reply. :) Where our heart is after, there we will and want to be. Ritchie, for the time being, got a doctor. His heart went out for the Lord and people.

A very interpretative image of what God's place would look like. That not all can enter into this "kingdom" - depicted by the stop sign. That there is both beauty and glory in such a place. It could not have been illustrated in a better way the way you did it in this photo, Pierre. My sincere congratulations. Best regards!

I think that including blatant iconography like the "Prohibited" circle is a great idea.  It's like a Leger painting.  best, j
