GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 7, 2011 Lovely layering with textures Pierre!! I still haven't mastered it as you have!! But you've given us an image that is all too pertinant to many of us. Sometimes 'time' is a friend, an enemy, a nuscence, a 'monkey' on our shoulder', that nagging 'voice' in our ear, or the one thing we just don't 'have enough of'.Precious minutes given to us each day, we have the choice of what we do from the time the first one starts ticking, and the last one ends. We can make good use of our time, or just waste it away. My goal is to spend us much of those minutes devoting them to whatever exists in my life, or perhaps I choose to exist, but it must be of 'quality'. We do need our sleep, but the rest of the time can be spent doing a multitude of things that would please our 'Maker' or the ones we Love. There is never an excuse to 'throw away' minutes on anything that would bring 'harm' to anyone. There is always someone in need, or a child who could use a friend, or hear a 'story', an elderly person who needs to hear they are 'worthwhile' and important. Whatever we choose, we are the 'authors' of our Destinies.I guess it's called 'claiming responsibility' for our 'minutes'. A very TIMELY SUBJECT! And EXCELLENT QUALITY of image. Congrats, you have many minds already pondering this fine photo. Kindest regards, Gail Link to comment

JamieK 1 Posted July 7, 2011 ancient paper, ancient object, ancient concept. cool. i'm guessing that the three is not meant to be blurred by distance and focus because the paper behind it is sharp. also, the bezel ring above it is sharp. the glass must have been hazy, and the angle caused a greater effect on that side? best, j Link to comment
