Very nice image Zsolt.  I like the atmosphere you captured.  One can feel the cripsy cold air.  Nice and original composition setting the warmer colors of the foreground against the cold blues of the background.  Very nice. Regards - michel

Great photo - the texture in both the forground and the background really 'pops'.

The contrast between the foreground and background really makes the photo, and I like the placement of the diagonal too.

My eye is drawn to the bottom left corner, and I had wondered whether you needed a more definitive subject in the foreground - but on second thoughts I think not...

How much post processing was involved?  Were the colours adjusted significantly?  I notice that there is vignetting - which was presumably added post processing rather than in camera?

thank you for the constructive comments, i am really happy to read them.

Matthew:  the contrast was increased heavily, because of the dense fog, the original image was rather dull (this way the vignetting which was insignificant, has increased, and i decided to leave it this way because the mood). besides the contrast, the saturation was also increased. so, the colors are the real ones, but increased a bit over the natural level (this is intentional and part of my style). so, basically no post-processing here, only a little bit of contrast, saturation, white balance fixing, and clarity, all of these is a few seconds work in raw converter.

best regards

Zsolt

Oh yea, this is beautiful. Great eye for texture and warm foreground juxtaposed to the cold background.
