richard_john_edwards 0 Posted July 6, 2011 This is a great Environmental portrait Ruud, I work in construction so this image is to me has relevance, years ago i did a folio on construction sites and i think that the characters on the sites are worthy subjects, your processing of this image is spot on.the composition places the subject in a position that both puts him in context and also in a pose that shows the difficulty of his work. very very good image, I rate this a 6 Cheers Richard Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 7, 2011 Excellent blackand white work. Your special attention to detail, lighting and composition have paid off in this shot. He is a good sized fellow working in close quarters, must have been awkward for the man. All the different lines and angles also add to make this an interesting shot. Nice work,Kind regards, Gail Link to comment
photodonn 0 Posted July 7, 2011 Excellent capture and treatment. Much more interesting as a high-contrast B&W than it would have been any other way, IMO. You got just the right amount of environment in there as well. I might have straightened it a bit along the lines of the joists, but that's a nit-picky comment for an outstanding image. Bravo.
