My son has been bringing home lost and abandoned animals since he was a toddler. He is an adult now, and is still doing this. This little kitten found him, she just jumped in his car, cuddled up and purred and purred. After a bath we could see that she was really a princess. So sweet and pretty.

She is adorable! China blue eyes, pink ears, and you captured her silky hair and ticklish whiskers so well! I lover her stare:  she looks smart. I hope your son keeps her.  I used to volunteer at a shelter and a dog "picked" me even though I wasn't there to adopt.  She was fantastic!  There's a little green in her right eye -- like a movie star

Linda, it is just meant to be that she is with your son and I hope he keeps her...she is obviously a godsend. She is beautiful and reminds me of Sinatra and Gizmo when they were kittens! Almost all of my cats adopted me, but some were found neglected and abandoned. One I found late at night on the side of a very busy road; her eyes closed due to infection and literally starving to death. She fit in the palm of my hand. Since she is charcoal grey and the only way in which to see her at night is if she has her eyes open I figured it was by the grace of God that I found her, so I named her Gracie. She had been very close to death when I found her and the emergency vet said she may not make it. She had been injured in her back legs and spine and it wasn't believed that she would walk either. I fed her by a dropper and washed her little body with warm wet cotton balls to mimic her mommy cleaning her. I exercised her little legs too and held her alot. She was soon thriving and is today the cutest little thing! She does have difficulty walking but is still fast on her feet! Anyway, sometimes when they find us the way this one found your son, it is just meant to be and they will provide hours of joy in our lives we wouldn't otherwise have had!

Darling image of her; she is very beautiful and you have captured her very well with beautiful colors and light. Thank you for sharing. Oh yes, and thank you for raising a son with a compassionate heart! :)

Thank you all for the kind comments. I appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Donna, her eyes are amazing, I have never seen such big, bright, blue eyes in a cat before. Her pure white fur makes them  stand out. I think she is a keeper.

Trisha, we all love animals in our family. My youngest is a very caring, kind soul. If there is a spider in the house he wouldn't dream of killing it, he will carefully take it outside an place it where it will be able to make a new home. This little kitten is amazing. She is so tiny, just skin and bones. She was starving and filthy when she landed in his X Terra. After she was bathed she looked like a vision, with the most beautiful, thick, shiny, pure white fur, and the huge, innocent, sparkling blue eyes. I don't really do her justice with this shot. She won't be homeless, if my son doesn't keep her then I will.

Best wishes,

Linda

I'm a bit late for this one, but I love the story and best of all the happy ending!  : - ) It's difficult to add anything original to the well deserved plethora of complimentry comments, but this is really exquisite, the detail and light are wonderful and to the extent that you can see the veins in her ears. But it's the eyes that capture my attention and of course my heart. Beautfully done Linda!

Best Regards

Alf
