I like the contrast of light and shadow.

This entire collection of photos is brilliant in all ways.

This is very well done. The only thing that bothers me is the white area at his temple seems a little too big, but maybe not. The space you left at the top is very nice also. Certainly a creative way to take a portriat.

Very nicely composed, and excellent sharpness, however the highlights are blown out and there is no detail in the shadows; in short,this picture has just a little too much contrast.
