I am hardly a person to critique (as my abilities are securely amateurish), however I was drawn to this picture and it's simplicity. I love the colors and embrace/posturing of the models. My only concern is the cut off...I would have included a bit more of the upper arms. It just seems a bit too low of a cutoff. Perhaps to just shy of shoulders? It's sort of the reverse delimma of portrait photography: you don't want to cut off at joints (elbows) but you want to include some of the arm...how much? In my opinion, I would have added just a touch more.

I like that you didn't include their faces...it adds to the feeling of catching this couple in a tender embrace: we see a couple in love, are warmed by their interaction, but seldom stare at them. It has a wonderfully natural feel to it.

Again, aside from my amateur photography I love the shot (and the rest of what I have seen of your portfolio). Absolutely wonderful. Thank you for allowing your picture to teach and touch me.

Thank you so much for your input Josh. I really do appreciate it. I actually shot the picture, just at her shoulders, but ended up cropping it because she has some extra skin hanging over the tank top which looked funny, so rather than trying to fix it, I just cropped it. This is definitely not my typical type of stuff, just trying to step out of the box. Thank you again for your time.
