Here is the best scan I could get using the Minolta software. Notice the blocked highlights.

This is the first photo I've posted where Ive used Vuescan's

software instead of Minolta's standard software in my scanner. Both

sets of software have far from perfect user friendly interfaces.

Although the VueScan software is clearly superior in its ability to

pull as much information as possible out of a neg.

I guess what I like most about all your pictures are the emotional response behind your subject. You must have an incredible ability to make the people feeling photographed by you feel comfortable.

Youve got a good print here, but I have to agree with the last comment that it looks a little flat. I would also add that the saturation is a little low.

If this print were mine, I would increase the saturation and the contrast by playing with the levels or curves tool a little. I would also burn in the background in order to separate the subject from it; they are too close in tone. I did it in my computer and it only took me about 3 minutes. Could post it, but Im not sure about your reactionsome people dont like their work tampered with.
