ted_gattino 0 Posted March 12, 2003 Lou Ann, I love the contrast and the composition in this one. I think you hit it just right. Good work! Ted Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 12, 2003 Thanks, Ted ... actually, to critique my own shot (hopefully objectively!) ... I have to say that I wish I had included a little bit more at the very top. I need to go back and do it again. :-) Thanks for your comments! Link to comment
barmijo 0 Posted March 12, 2003 Very nice composition and dramatic lighting. Columns are especially hard to photograph because they highlight converging lines that, unless you use a TS lens, are bound to occur. PS can correct that, but you lose a little resolution. Also, IMHO, I might crop the top and sides a tiny bit to highlight the opening and the shaft of light. Very well done! Link to comment
luca moi 0 Posted March 12, 2003 Very well exposed, nice composition. I like also the black&white Link to comment
bhaskar k. 0 Posted July 2, 2003 I liked all your photos. And since I am also from DC and take a lot of pics in DC, i really liked your stuff. I think this is a very very good shot. Very Impressive composition and lighting. The totally dark pillar on the right is a bit distracting though Link to comment
mike_hodson 0 Posted September 2, 2003 Great shot, the contrast and the perspective really give this image some power. Link to comment
jason maestri 0 Posted February 25, 2004 I grew up near DC, but I never saw it quite the way you've presented it. These images, espeically this one, are quite powerful! The tonal range in this one is fantastic! Link to comment
eleanor 1 Posted March 8, 2004 Lou Ann, I am not sure when you posted this, but I just ran across it. Love this image! You have done a beautiful job - light, lines, shadow, drama, it's all in here! Congratulations. Eleanor Link to comment
