I just open PN and there your new post for me to see! Amazing clarity, colors and texture my friend. Do you use tripod? The subject "chupandose el dedo" sucking his thumb is close to my heart as I use to counsel at an elementary school were many students up to the age of 12 use to do it! It is a self soothing habit, that is left behing as the individual matures. And sometimes in soliture adults continue doing it!  Take good care.

The larger view lets the smooth texture of the skin and the fine textures of his curls and lashes to really sing.

A slice of time perhaps more meaningful to the parents than to anyone else but we can all appreciate it to some degree.  Time will likely see the habit pass on but your sharp photo eye has captured it for posterity.  One time when the moment is more important than any fancy lighting.  Stuff like this happens around the home all the time and if direct flash is the only lighting available at the time then it is most appropriate to use it.  And it helps if the direct flash is as accurate and as flattering as this is.  Best, LM.
