Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 27, 2011 I have no idea how you get the colors you do. I think you have a special ability to sense the potential of light - the different possibilities presented by a hazy morning or a a cloudy afternoon; by an oncoming storm or the time just after the rain; by the coolness of winter light or by the richer tones of summer or fall. I've admired your handling of light in so many of the photos you've posted. In this picture, I love the crescent of bright green bracketed by the threatening sky and its darkly reflected image on the water softened only by those few, brave off-shore reeds. Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted June 29, 2011 Thank you All for your kind comments! Jack, yes, it is taken afternoon, after rain. The light is important to me indeed. I am using only natural light that nature provides us. Unless the light as it is my photos would be much more boring. So thanks to the nature. I am actually not interested in landscape/nature photography, it is just a fun for a change before coming back to my dear subjects;). Best regards. Link to comment
alfbailey 2 Posted June 29, 2011 The stark contrast between the illuminated vegetation and the brooding clouds makes this so appealing, vivid and colourful. For someone who is not interested in landscapes.........its a great! landscape : - )Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted July 1, 2011 I second Alf here. You lucky one having camera with you when such dramatic light appeared in front of you. Link to comment
