Alex 0 Posted June 24, 2011 My most loyal model... My wife of course. I used a darker gray background that I was not to excited about. Icould not separate her as much as I wanted from it, therefore I endedup showing some background detail I did not care for. I created a newbackground in photoshop after the fact.Any thoughts and or comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking.Alex Link to comment

Alex 0 Posted June 24, 2011 Thanks Ruud. This was the original background after I worked on it for a bit. I toned it a bit blue plus I added a vignette.Which background do you guys/gals think work best?RegardsAlex Link to comment

JEJEJE.Saludos Link to comment
stp 6 Posted June 24, 2011 Hard to choose -- both are nice. I like the new one (first posted). The model (yes, your wife!) does stand out better, and I like the bit of interest/detail in the background as opposed to something more uniform / smooth / bland. Nicely done. Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted June 25, 2011 Nice portrait, good lighting and nice skin tones. I would probably prefer a pose with her head more upward though. Background wise, i'm partial to textures so my vote goes for the "replacement" bg hands down. Interestingly the original bg seems less natural than the replacement. Regards - michel Link to comment
alfbailey 1 Posted June 25, 2011 Hmmm thats a tough call.........but I like blue coloured one best, it kind of looks more harmonious, luxurious and more in keeping with your wifes beautiful looks and demeanor. Expertly done!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 30, 2011 Dear friend Alex, I like the original a lot, the back ground might to some people looks noisy but thats not true, the back ground with its textures is so great add to this remarkable portrait work, indeed the model here is so beautiful and at the same time she is having a very pleasant appearance, yet your work is is one a very high quality, specially the lighting here which extremely effective for this portrait work, the skin tone is also of very original nature while the back ground again has done its job by isolated the model superbly, the little smile and the innocent expression on your model face is a means of connecting this image nicely with the viewers. Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best. Link to comment
