Memorial Bridge 1

I'm still in my first few months (first several rolls!) with an SLR.

Please let me know what you think about this shot of the Memorial

Bridge in Washington, DC. Thanks in advance for any/all comments and

ratings.

Well exposed, interesting composition

Very good. And it would be much stronger with better textured snow. Snow is slightly underexposed. I'd try to decrease contrast a little bit to get some room for density up. In sunny day, of course shadows could be striking. Nevertheless, very nice.

Excellent composition and wonderful detail on the bridge pillars, great contrast. However, Vlad is correct, the snow is let down and needs more detail.

Lou ann, I really like the guardrail and the way it is shown. Aside from that component I am not partial to the shot. The lines seem to work very well though. My eyes hit the gaurdrail first follow it up to the end, linger on the Biker and then follow the sidewalk to the bottom right coner. So I would say that you have effectively led my eyes into and around the picture. Good job
