Kula Farm Flowers

It couldn't fail to brighten my day! Such intense colour and brightness, and not least the exquisite shapes and exotic foliage. Could this be a composite image?  I mean no disrespect, it just looks so surreal, and fantasy like. Amazing and very different from any flower shot I've seen on PN.

Alf, thanks for looking.  I'm glad you enjoy it.  This is not a composite.  There is a road side farmers market nearby, and this group of flowers was in a bucket on the ground, along with other arrangements.  I cleaned up a few spots in PS and sharpened it, but that's about it.  Aloha!

Dominick - a very nice image of exotic and colorful flowers . I like the fan shaped fronds in the background. Not sure if it is showing up accurately on my monitor but based on the green fronds, methinks a color balance adjustment may be needed to bring it to a more 'natural' color but if it was your vision for this image, then keep it 'as is'.  I was going to rate 5 but that would lower your avg so it is a virtual rating. Thanks for the feedback!  Tony, one problem I have with posting on PN is the color accuracy.  The photos rarely look the way the original does on my monitor.  I try different techniques but often have to settle for close rather than perfect.  Good thing I don't have to make a living at it!
