.......... the bigger picture shows the clarity of this capture. The definition in the feathers is beautiful. Great lighting effect and the green border works well.

Well done.

Hi Eystein

Viewed bigger this image is amazing. The feathers look very much like lace and I find this bird just as stunning as the coloured Peacocks we normally see! Personally I would have loved the shot to show all the feathers, but it is still a great shot.

Best regards

Louise

Thank you. I have pulished two peacockimages, one with the green frame and one without. Personally I prefer the one with the frame.

I didn't know there were white peacocks! Well back lit in belonging presumably environment! Only you couldn't catch some more of the feathers?! I'm not sure though that it is necessary!

Best regards Eystein!

Thank you again. I agree that more feathers would have been perfect, but he was moving around, and I didn't have time for more than one shot, and this is the result. I have cropped in the bottom - otherwise the green part would have been too dominating.

Fantastic shot. I had seen white peacocks before but never so magnificently captured. The back lighting on the fan gives transforms it into a wonderful lace.  The details in the feathers are remarkable.  Your composition is also excellent placing the head of the bird to the right and having the fan extend far to the left, the feathers acting as natural lines towards the bird's body, which thanks to a well chosen DOF is also in clear focus.  Excellent shot.  Regards - michel
