I feel more pity for this beautiful cat than I feel fear. (notwithstanding that he\she is behind bars & I'm not)  Never one to leave well enough alone I ran this one through photoshop to see if I could 'improve' it at all.  Nothing!  I think you can take this one to the bank.  The crop is excellent, the exposure bang-on, and the quality of the fur only deteriorates if one tries to increase the contrast or brightness.  The icing on the cake, of course, is the sharp focus on the eye.  This fact alone sets it apart from the 'also rans'.  I'm guessing that this is your most satisfying image from the excursion to the zoo.  I'd print it.  Best, LM.

Thanks, Len. My favorite shot is actually one I haven't posted yet. It's a lion profile shot and I should be getting it on canvas any day. This was my second favorite.
