lintrathen 15 Posted June 19, 2011 ..............lovely girl, super lighting and definition, but I'm musing over the pose....................I'm trying to find the mood here...........Had she held this pose, but was glancing at the viewer, a seductive or cheeky mood may have applied. Had she straightened her left arm so that the slip strap was loose, the viewer could have seen a pensive mood, unaware that her slip strap had fallen. But as her left arm is preventing her slip from falling further down, for me, it appears that she knows what she is doing yet doesn't want to be a part of it.......... or maybe it is just late in the day for me (smiles).Beautiful girl, beautiful image.Well doneRegards Link to comment

gsphotoguy 3 Posted June 19, 2011 I love this high-key portrait, Andrew. I feel that what she is thinking is part of the mystery. The casual nature of the nudity is pretty. I also like the necklace and the way she is twirling her hair. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 20, 2011 I have to agree with you about over analyzing things. If you try to do this, we do spoil our enjoyment of the image. This is lovely. If there is any critique, I might have considered losing some of the space at the top and including the bottom of the string of beads. This is a minor point I know, but I do feel it would have made the image more complete. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted June 20, 2011 David, You have a pint. Cutting off the bottom of the beads looks like a clear error, but i had hard time composing the image with the beads. To me the original image is more attractive then the corrected one. See attached. I would very much appreciate if anybody is willing to comment on their feelings. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 21, 2011 The second one is the winner for me. I do understand that it is sometimes difficult to compose something the way you want it. Sometimes including one feature results in another feature looking clumsy. There is no such dilemma here to my eye. Thanks for posting the 'corrected' version. Link to comment

erikadams 0 Posted April 21, 2012 The second one for me. The beads create a nice frame that guides your eye. I love this shot. Such nice lighting and mood. Link to comment
