Such a gentle photo! Great sharp focus on the eyes

This is a wonderful portrait -- beautiful eyes, and the blue is in such contrast with the light colors in the rest of the frame.  The unpretentiousness of this innocent age really shines through.  Very nice work.

You've done a nice job of framing and catching her expression. I think a bit of editing is in order, however. You want those eyes to really pop--this means getting the white balance right, and doing some selective sharpening.

I don't think that those eyes could pop any more without looking freakish. A beautiful moment captured from a segment of life that never pauses. Well done.

My sense is one of these alternatives is more angelic, while the other is more earthly.  Both are quite nice, but they each project in their own way. 

In my eyes you really captured those deep bleu eyes in the right way.

This photograph is absolutely stunning.  Her eyes stand out beautifully and the soft hue of the photo in general is just perfect.  Wow - well done.  I love the extra detail of the little barrette in her hair - it adds an extra touch of innocence.
