This was my first trip to Las Vegas in 20 years. I’m not a gambler. The

proximity to Zion made it the airport of choice. As a photographer, I

was overwhelmed by the architecture, the creations men have

assembled in the middle of the dessert, and all concentrated in such a

small area. Like a kid in a candy store! I also enjoyed the excellent

food, great shows, and driving a rental Ferrari 430 Scuderia around the

Las Vegas Speedway track  I’ve included exposure info because

there are exposures made at ISO’s 1600-6400, all hand held in the

Vegas series, with noise cleaned up in Lightroom. It’s amazing how

clean these ISO 6400 shots can be.

Intersting that I missed your Las Vegas series. Beautiful, just beautiful. High quality as usual. What it is actually? A wall or ceiling decoration I propose?

Gunnar,  This is a ceiling at the Bellagio Resort.   It boggles my mind to observe the art created for the resorts.  So much of it is one of a kind.  I will use Vegas as a stopover to Zion National Park once again, photograph more, and I will rent maybe a Lamborghini  to race around the track next time!  And I will enjoy the food.  Thanks for the comments.  Aloha.

It is very lovely Dominic. Las Vegas, although I've never been, I've heard is like not other. While the lights and sights must be marvellous, I doubt that I will ever get there. My Dad would like us all to go. But at the moment, my travel dollars are slim and I would probably choose somewhere more exotic and beautiful. But YOU LIVE IN what I dream of, so I imagine this was a nice change of pace for you. When I was in Rome many years ago, I saw quite a few Lambourgenies (spelled wrong I am sure). Have to say, it is such a 'sexy' car! Back to this image, fantastic colours and patterns. Good to hear you enjoyed yourself!
