Mt Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand. This image was taken

in Hooker Valley, from there we could view the south face of Mt Cook

Peak under the setting sun. Thank you for viewing this image.

IMHO the b&w and the high contrast make the photo more dramatic and beautiful. I almost never like nearly-black skyes, but I think it's very appropriate in this case. Regards!
